Overview

Born in 1974 in Tăşnad, Romania, Alina Aldea is a graduate of the Bucharest University of Arts, the sculpture section. During the time, the artist participated in important international events, such as Mdina Biennial of Contemporary Art in 2020, the Florence Biennale in 2017 or the International Festival of Experimental Art in Venice in 2016. It begins to exhibit frequently since the late 1990s and early 2000s in various personal and group exhibitions. In 2011 he was awarded with the title of Doctor of Visual Arts at the University of Arts Bucharest. Her works are found in important private and public collections and in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC), Bucharest, Romania.
